Aeternum Gears Up for Console Beta Test

As the New World turns, we see one event wrap up and a new one step into the limelight. Obviously, this week’s headlining news in the New World is the beginning of the console beta for New World: Aeternum this Thursday. If you’re keen on participating in the festivities, we’re handing out keys for both the PlayStation 5 and Xbox. Claim yours immediately. (Note: These links are exclusively for the US. European players, we’ve got a giveaway for you as well, but it’s only applicable for PlayStation 5.)

In case you plan on passing the MMORPG console beta and continue playing on your PC, the Fury of the Spriggan event is back on. After the excitement of Medleyfaire, it’s time to get serious. Spriggans are now appearing everywhere and it’s your job to tackle the open-world confrontations with upwards of 20 players beginning tomorrow. Defeat your enemies for event-specific rewards.

Each victory in these battles will earn you a weapon or gear suitable for your level, guaranteed to be of rare quality or higher, a roll for container resources, a level-suitable consumables roll, and 1 Obsidian Gypsum.

However, bear in mind that some prizes, such as Mossborne weapons and armor among others, are limited and can only be claimed 3 times per day. Check out the official announcement for all the prizes and finer details.
