DC Universe Online players can now experience the “Raging Night” update, the third part of the Light and Rain storyline. This update takes heroes and villains to Mogo, the Green Lantern Corps’ living planet headquarters, which is currently under siege by Nekron and the Black Lanterns. This endgame content is available to all players and delves into DC’s popular mythology.
Since its launch in 2011, DCUO has integrated comic book storylines into its episodic releases. The Light and Rain series follows Kyle Rayner and Luzia Cavalera through a war of emotions, with “Raging Night” representing the darkest point before a counterattack. Level 20+ players can access this content on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
New Features:
- New Raid and Alert — Book of the Black: Battle Lyssa Drak inside the Book of the Black, with varying difficulty levels and a shorter alert version.
- Solo Instances: A story-driven prelude sets up the raid, while Nekron’s Lair offers a final confrontation with Nekron using White Lantern power.
- Progression Items: Life-Infused Augment Canisters, Risen Exobytes, and Shattered Ring catalysts provide gear progression.
- Styles: Collect armor inspired by Kyle Rayner’s constructs and Omnipotence items themed after Nekron.
- Limited-Time Event — Raging Night (Sep 23 – Oct 20, 2025): Enjoy accelerated rewards for four weeks, with a buyout option until Nov 17.
- Marketplace Boost (Sep 23 – Sep 29): Earn double White Lantern Corps Commendations and receive a 20% discount on Fortify items.
