There’s a potential issue for players who purchased the Seekers Founder’s pack for the PvP strategy game Warborne Above Ashes: access to the public test server (PTS) might be limited. A “configuration error” related to the Seeker pack purchase is causing this.
According to a report on Massively, Qooland doesn’t have enough Steam keys to provide PTS access to all Seeker pack owners. They are working to acquire more keys, but in the meantime, they will conduct random drawings to determine who receives access. The distribution of these keys was expected to occur by today. Players who don’t receive a key will be compensated with in-game currency that can be used to unlock characters.
Unsurprisingly, players may be unhappy with this situation. However, as noted in the post on Massively, the reaction hasn’t been as negative as it could have been. This observation is based on activity within the game’s Discord channel, where some disgruntled users announced they uninstalled the game, while others complained but largely continued with normal discussion. The true impact of this situation will likely be reflected in future player numbers.
