Wuthering Waves 2.7 Arrives in October with Story and QoL Updates

Wuthering Waves is set to release Version 2.7, “Dawn Breaks on Dark Tides,” on October 9th. Kuro Games, the developer based in China, recently revealed details during a livestream about the upcoming content. This includes new story chapters and in-game planning tools designed to streamline character progression across PC and mobile platforms.

The free-to-play action RPG has garnered a dedicated following thanks to its engaging parry-focused combat system and open-world traversal mechanics. Version 2.7 aims to build upon this success by introducing two new Resonators, more challenging endgame content, and addressing long-standing user interface issues. The game currently averages around 11,500 concurrent players on Steam over the past 30 days.
