Star Trek Online: Unleashed Update Ends Aetherian Collective Threat

DECA Games has launched Season 34: “Unleashed” in the free-to-play sci-fi MMORPG Star Trek Online. This new update furthers the narrative surrounding the Aetherian Collective threat with the introduction of the episode “Best Laid Plans.” In this episode, players are summoned to Deep Space 9 by Hugh of the Borg to assist in a crucial extraction mission. The storyline features a team-up between the player, Seven of Nine, and others to confront the Aetherians.

The update also includes a fresh 5-player task force operation (TFO) called “Shattered Peace.” Players will once again collaborate with Seven of Nine, this time to defend against enemy incursions near Khitomer. During the TFO, players will encounter rifts, waves of enemies, and even face opposition from unexpected allies.

Unleashed is available on PC starting today. Console players on PlayStation and Xbox will need to wait until November 11th to experience the update.
