Amazon Games is heavily promoting their MMORPG, Throne and Liberty. The “Solisium’s Awakening” patch, launching on September 18th, is the game’s most substantial update to date. This update introduces player housing, a new Orb weapon specializing in area control, and 24v24 Battlegrounds designed to invigorate end-game PvP. To attract new and returning players, “Hyperboost” servers will be available, significantly accelerating early game progression.
Throne and Liberty, released earlier this year, is a free-to-play, cross-platform MMO featuring large-scale sieges and dynamic weather-influenced combat. While the foundation is strong, some players felt progression was slow and the economic model overly grindy. “Solisium’s Awakening” aims to address these concerns by focusing on convenience features, new gear tiers, and updated challenge modes.
Key Features of Solisium’s Awakening:
- Hyperboost Servers: Optional fresh start servers and account-wide missions designed to rapidly boost characters to 6,000 combat power.
- Player Housing: 24 available plots across two villages, four different house sizes, a complete furniture crafting system, and social visit options.
- Orb Weapon: Summon up to three orbs that can shield allies or debuff enemies. Limited to one Orb user per Arena or Battleground team.
- 24v24 Battlegrounds: A conquest-style mode called “Giant’s Cityscape” is launching, with ranked play to follow the preseason.
- Tier 3 Gear: New weapons, armor, and accessories dropping in dungeons, trials, and PvP. Growthstone costs are halved compared to Tier 2.
- Dimensional Trial Overhaul: Weekly leaderboards, customizable affixes, and two new heroic trials: Colossal Coliseum and Fate’s Abyss.
- Path of Ascension & Path of the Stars: Streamlined guides providing mastery points, runes, and gear recommendations as players level up.
- Achievement System: Track and showcase points earned through exploration, crafting, and combat milestones.
- Quality-of-Life Improvements: Updated main menu, gathering rework, fall damage adjustments, and PlayStation 5 memory optimizations.
