A new map called “Fault” has been unveiled for Delta Force. The map portrays a war-torn mountain city shrouded in fog, a once-thriving hub now scarred by conflict and political upheaval. This area within the free-to-play shooter possesses a tragic past: an exiled prince triggered chaos, unleashing wolves upon the region, while Havoc established two Skynet server bases at its core. Havoc’s modernization, while improving infrastructure, resulted in the displacement of many local residents and exacerbated social disparities, leading to deep fractures and resentment.
According to the trailer, the battle for Assara transcends mere territorial gains. It’s about reclaiming a land exploited and depleted under the guise of salvation.
Fault is characterized by thick fog, oppressive heat, and large-scale climate control technology, originally intended for disaster prevention, which has now been weaponized. This environment presents unique tactical opportunities and challenges, requiring players to adapt to these demanding conditions.
The upcoming season “War Ablaze,” launching alongside the new map, introduces the F-45A Fighter Jet, a new Recon Operator named Raptor specializing in intelligence and drones, and performance enhancements like 120 FPS support on consoles.
