Vindictus’ Latest Update in Season 4 Episode 9: “Desperate Deterrent” Raises Level Cap

NEXON unveiled a new update for the classic hack n’ slash action MMORPG, titled Vindictus. The fresh content invites players to delve into Season 4 Episode 9 – “Desperate Deterrent”. This update extends the level cap from 115 to 120 and also introduces a new raid called, “The One Who Protects the Altar”.

New Raid and Increased Level Cap:

  • “The One Who Protects the Altar” Raid: This raid, located in Mount Celsina of Toward Taratha, is reserved for top-notch players at Level 120. Participants will face a daunting boss, Sreng, and his giant army as they try to stop Lord Balor’s resurrection. Heroes successfully finishing the raid before Tuesday, July 9, will be awarded extra Evil Cores.
  • Raised Level Cap to 120: Co-occurring with the new raid is a hike in the level cap, allowing players to progress up to Level 120. With this new level cap, players can access the mighty “Uaithne” weapons and armor, which can be attained through the raid or High Expertise equipment crafting. Those who progress from Level 116 to 120 before Tuesday, July 23, can win Boxtryoshkas and other invaluable items in-game. Furthermore, reaching Level 120 reveals the prestigious “Title: Powerful Paragon.”

Timed Rewards:

  • Extra Raid Rewards: Players involved in Red Moon’s Energy or Niflheim region raids, distinct dungeons, or Royal Army raids before Tuesday, July 9, will earn Chieftain’s Proficiency Sweep Coupons. These coupons can be traded at Expertise Stalls for useful items, including Chieftain’s Stamps and Chieftain’s Rapid Support Potions. Assembling Chieftain’s Stamps fills the Chieftain’s shape, unveiling Blessing Stone Collection Boxes and Superior Enhancement Elixir Boxes as bonus rewards.
  • Plink Plink Vending Machine Tokens: Until Tuesday, July 23, these tokens trigger special tasks. Completing these tasks bestows players with Plink Plink Vending Machine Coupons, which can be swapped for Clone Outfit Crafting Boxes and 100% Completely Bound Success Enchant Boxes.

Despite being a 14-year-old game, Vindictus continues to receive regular updates. Although it isn’t as well-known as before, the game preserves a core group of players. The game is accessible on both Steam and Nexon’s personal launcher.
