Mechs Return to RIFT: Weekend Event!

In RIFT, the mechanical menace has returned! Mechs are once again wreaking havoc across Telara, shaking the very foundations of the world. The Ascended are called upon once more to defend against this mechanical onslaught. From September 5th, players of the free-to-play MMORPG can join the fight and repel the invasion before it consumes the land.

Brave adventurers can answer the call to arms by accepting daily quests from Sanctum, Meridian, or Tempest Bay. Beyond these central cities, participation in Warfronts, Expert Dungeons, and dynamic zone events via the LFG tool will also contribute to the war effort. Each day brings new challenges and opportunities to prove your mettle against the Mechs. Completing all available daily quests rewards your character with 65 Chaos Motes, which can be exchanged at event NPCs for exclusive mounts, pets, and other limited-time prizes. For those seeking even greater rewards, Credits can be spent in the RIFT Store.

A key element of the event is the main questline, “Defender of the Elements.” This quest sends Ascended heroes across diverse zones like Vostigar Peaks, Silverwood, Freemarch, Shimmersand, and Stillmoor, challenging them to confront powerful Mechs and safeguard Telara’s delicate elemental balance.

This event is active until September 8th at 23:59 (UTC). Ascended have only a short window to amass Chaos Motes and acquire these exclusive items before the Mechs retreat once more!
