Genshin Impact brings Nod-Krai to gamescom 2025 with first look at Flins

HoYoverse unveiled the next chapter for Genshin Impact at gamescom 2025: the region of Nod-Krai. The popular free-to-play, open-world action RPG is expanding, and the event in Cologne provided the first look at the new playable character, Flins. Attendees can explore a themed booth showcasing the upcoming region, while online viewers can watch the reveal trailer.

This marks the fifth consecutive year the hit live-service game has been present at gamescom. Previous expansions, including Inazuma, Sumeru, and Fontaine, introduced new mechanics, cultures, and storylines. The Nod-Krai reveal indicates the direction of the main narrative. HoYoverse is supporting the reveal with both in-person activities and livestreams to cater to the game’s extensive player base across PC, PlayStation, and mobile platforms.

  • First Trailer: Flins debuts as a Lightkeeper warrior protecting Nod-Krai from the Wild Hunt.
  • Immersive Booth: Located in Hall 6, stand C031, the booth offers faction exhibits, a collaborative mini-challenge, live music, and cosplay opportunities.
  • Exclusive Merchandise and Food: Attendees can purchase limited-edition items and sample a special HoYoverse Café menu.
  • Online Coverage: Rocket Beans TV is providing daily streaming segments for fans unable to attend in person.
  • Event Dates: The booth is open from August 20-24, with support from partners UGREEN and HOLY.
