Shooter games have enduring popularity, but sometimes players crave a twist. If that twist involves some lighthearted absurdity, like, say, bashing each other with baseball bats, you’re in luck! Apex Legends‘ Galactic Games event promises exactly that.
During the event, players can find the Grand Slam Bat in Wildcard care packages. To spice things up further, you can craft Wild Cards that grant abilities like wall-running and a variety of melee enhancements.
And of course, there are rewards to earn. By accumulating Honor through daily challenges, players can unlock two types of packs: the Event Pack and the Epic Apex Pack. There’s also the chance to snag new legendary skins for several Legends, as well as a Legendary Weapon skin. As a fitting highlight for this bat-themed event, a new Grand Slam Universal Melee weapon will be available for use by all Legends.
