MU Online’s Latest Update Digs Deep With a New Dungeon and Higher Level Cap

Celebrating two decades since its launch, MU Online continues to engage its player base. The popular Korean MMORPG has released the second part of Season 20 Part 1 for PC players. This update brings a new endgame dungeon and increases the level cap to 1,700.

This patch is aimed at players who have reached the higher level tiers. The introduction of a challenging new hunting area, class-specific equipment, and a selection of limited-time events are designed to encourage veteran players to return to the game.

Key Features of Season 20 Part 1 – 2nd Update:

• Kardamahal Underground Temple: This level 1500+ dungeon, found beneath Karutan, is populated by elemental monsters such as Devil Sword and Devil Sorcery. It offers drops like talismans and combination fragments used in late-game crafting.
• Level Cap Increase to 1,700: Players can now advance 50 levels beyond the previous limit, the first such increase since Season 19. Reaching levels 1,600 and 1,650 before the next season grants players special Muun pets for 30 days.
• Alchemist Exclusive Gear: The new Alchemist class gains access to three new wing tiers (Protection, Purity, Wisdom) and weapon and socket armor sets designed to enhance its potion-based combat style.
• Seasonal Muun Rewards: The new Alchemist Muun and returning Dark Lord Muun provide a 20x stat boost for one month to players reaching the new milestone levels.
• Limited-Time Events (through September 9):
  • Collect Elemental Symbols within the new dungeon to craft Superior Pentagrams and an Elemental Box containing rare equipment.
  • Enjoy a 30% EXP bonus during specific hours, along with a permanent 20% reduction in monster HP for the duration of the event.
  • Benefit from safe enhancement of Bloodangel gear up to +11, coupled with a flat 20% success rate increase when upgrading Mastery Accessories (+8 to +15).
  • Experience free mounting and extraction of Seed Spheres.
  • Participate in the Lapidary Stone Ranking competition, where the top ten players in each region will receive the Earring of Foliage.
