The news comes after careful thought and examination. Civilization is an acclaimed game in the strategic IP field, created by Sid Meier, and renowned alongside Age of Empires.
Nexon, on the other hand, overlooked the game’s promotion and underestimated the Southeast Asian market, despite its massive revenue potential. The absence of any substantial marketing efforts and on-ground live events reflects Nexon’s over reliance on online outreach to attract its millions of players. This incident serves as a poor example of game launches in Southeast Asia.
