World of Warships: Legends is marking its 6th anniversary with a significant content update that includes new ships, a campaign, and exciting special events.
This update introduces the free-to-play shooter’s inaugural campaign featuring free Admiralty Backing, allowing players to complete 100 milestones to unlock one of two Tier VIII Premium ships: the Japanese destroyer Minegumo or the Pan-European battleship Niord. The ship not selected will be made available for purchase later on.
Additionally, there’s a second wave of Blue Archive themed content running from August 11 to September 8, which adds three new Premium ships and commanders, each with unique voiceovers. Players can obtain these through the Store and special containers.
The Birthday Mayhem Calendar will offer three weeks of rewards alongside a special Bureau project featuring items from previous events. Players can earn Piñatitas event currency to trade for birthday-themed rewards, which include two new cruisers: the Pan-Asian Tier VII Irian and British Tier V Dido.
Furthermore, visual and technical upgrades enrich the gameplay experience with enhancements to scenery, weather, lighting, and water effects. Players on PlayStation 5 will experience 4K 60 FPS support, while PlayStation 5 Pro users will have access to Ray Tracing capabilities.
