World of Tanks Marks 15 Years with Month-Long In-Game Celebrations

World of Tanks is celebrating a significant milestone this year, marking its 15th anniversary with an exciting month-long series of in-game events starting August 8.

Since its debut in 2010, the free-to-play shooter has attracted millions of players globally, integrating historical precision with fast-paced, team-oriented tank combat gameplay on both PC and consoles. To commemorate this special occasion, Wargaming is introducing daily rewards via the Anniversary Album. Each day, players can log in to uncover special envelopes that showcase pivotal moments from the game’s history, granting cosmetic items, in-game currency, and various bonuses.

A limited-time Battle Pass chapter will also be introduced, featuring enticing rewards for completion, including the Brennos — a formidable Tier VIII French heavy tank — along with themed crew members and different resources to improve gameplay.

Moreover, the “Overwhelming Fire” arcade mode is making a comeback for two weekends, delivering fast-paced skirmishes with experimental vehicles on compact maps. Additionally, longtime players who registered before April 14, 2012, will receive an exclusive “15th Anniversary” badge, and every match featuring at least one veteran will grant all players a 15% credit boost.

Finally, official anniversary Twitch livestreams will provide Drops that include premium tanks, rare skins, and other exciting in-game items.
