Following its unexpected early access release last Friday, Titan Quest II has dominated discussions among MOP staff and players alike. THQ Nordic has since revealed strong initial sales, with over 300,000 copies sold within the first 72 hours. The publisher highlighted the game’s position among Steam and Epic Games Store global top sellers, noting it achieved
THQ Nordic’s second-highest concurrent player peak ever (27,000+ players via
SteamDB)
– surpassed only by 2021’s Biomutant. The Steam version currently holds an 84% positive rating.

MOP’s Tyler praised the mythological authenticity and vibrant visuals contrasting
typical grimdark aesthetics, but noted the Early Access build feels “a little undercooked” with only two masteries
currently available. The $24 discounted phase continues until its full $50 launch in late 2026.
