Honkai: Star Rail’s 3.5 Version Launches on August 13 with a New Story Arc and Playable Heroes

The next major update, Version 3.5 “Before Their Deaths” for Honkai: Star Rail, has been scheduled by HoYoverse for the 13th of August, 2025. This patch deepens the ongoing multi-chapter Amphorean storyline launched last year, immersing the players in fresh lore set a millennium back. The update introduces two new five-star characters, Hysilens and Imperator Cerydra, alongside the narrative components.

Key features of Version 3.5 Include:

• New Coming Characters:
  • Hysilens (Physical / Nihility) specializes in damage-over-time (DoT) zones that diminish enemy ATK and DEF.
  • Imperator Cerydra (Wind / Harmony) aids a specific ally with accumulating “Military Merit,” enhancing ATK, CRIT DMG, and RES PEN.
• Cyclic Banners: Featured in the first and second parts of the warp event are Stellaron Hunters Kafka and Silver Wolf.
• New Mission: Traverse back to ancient Okhema during the Eternal Recurrence, dealing with law-bearer ruler Cerydra and the implications of the Deliverer’s commitment to Phainon.
• Newly Introduced Area: Get introduced to Styxia, the City of Infinite Revelry, home to adversary Lygus, who alternates between two battle forms.
• Time-Limited Events:
  • Experience the “Chrysos Maze Grand Restaurant” restaurant-management mini-game at Aedes Elysiae.
  • Mingle in “Old Brews & New Friends” bartender event at Dreamjolt Hostelry, with recurring NPCs.
• Usability Enhancements: New voice-toggle feature allows collaborative characters to switch between in-game dubbing and originally licensed voice actors.
