LotRO Update 45 Brings Major Changes to the Ettenmoors

The patch notes for Lord of the Rings Online Update 45 indicate that exciting developments are on the horizon. This update implements “significant modifications” to the Ettenmoors, featuring a new Siege mechanic. As outlined in the announcement, these changes aim to be “far-reaching” and to “transform the gameplay” with “dynamic events that can sway the tides of battle.” Additionally, the update introduces new mechanics like rewards for conquering towers, new relics, and fresh vendors.

Moreover, Update 45 marks the beginning of Season 2 of the Monster Player Reward Track, which can be accessed via the LotRO store. However, the track is not live yet, so players should remain vigilant for further announcements.

Other new features in the MMORPG update include an expansion of the Birding feature. This now encompasses the regions of Mordor and Gondor, unveiling over 120 new bird species in nine areas. Players can earn rewards, such as house decorations, by discovering all the birds in specific territories.
