Apex Legends: New 1v1 Mode in Future Icons Event

The upcoming Future Icons event for Apex Legends is set to introduce a host of new content and gameplay adjustments to the battle royale title.

This event unveils Arenas: Duels, a thrilling 1v1 mode where players engage in combat without the use of abilities or healing. Participants can acquire new cosmetic items through Future Icons Event Packs, featuring Legendary skins as well as Wattson’s prestigious “Apex Icon” Prestige Skin. Additionally, both Wattson and Vantage are temporarily accessible to all players, with buffs applied to enhance their utility and attractiveness.

Arenas: Duels consists of randomized matchups using mirrored loadouts and Legends. Each match lasts five minutes, with performance showcased on a live leaderboard. Although abilities are currently disabled, they will be reintegrated later in the event.

This event runs from June 24 to July 15 and includes a reward track where players can accumulate up to 1,400 points daily by completing various challenges. These points can be used to unlock exclusive Future Icons cosmetics and make progress toward earning all four event badges. New Legendary skins for Rampart, Octane, and the Peacekeeper are up for grabs, and event packs guarantee no duplicate items will be received.
