Zenless Zone Zero 2.0 Kicks Off June 6 Featuring Waifei Peninsula, Xbox Premiere, and Significant Anniversary Prizes

Hoyoverse is set to unveil Zenless Zone Zero’s new chapter as it launches its 2.0 version, titled Where Clouds Embrace the Dawn, on June 6. The update signifies the onset of Season 2 and simultaneous Xbox platform release. It features the new Waifei Peninsula area, additional Agents, combat enhancements, and a slew of anniversary gifts for players.

Following the Sacrifice crisis storyline, players, termed as Proxies within the game, will be exploring Waifei Peninsula, a lively yet enigmatic New Eridu district. New characters like Grandmaster Yixuan will guide the players through fresh missions and encounters in the region’s main area, the Lemnian Hollow.

Highlights of the Version 2.0:

• Waifei Peninsula and Suibian Temple:
  • A district filled with tea houses and pawnshops, giving a dash of local essence
  • Suibian Temple as a base that players may upgrade using resources and assigning Bangboos on missions
  • An enhanced 3D map and navigation tools to facilitate Hollow movement and transit
  • Fissure Beacons providing easy travel, revival, and healing throughout Hollows
• Introducing Expanded Combat and Agents:
  • Yixuan entering as an S-Rank Auric Ink Agent offering high burst damage and exclusive Adrenaline-based mechanics
  • Ju Fufu as an S-Rank, Fire Stun Agent giving party-wide CRIT boosts and high impact dual-mode attacks
  • Pan Yinhu (A-Rank Physical Defense) and Belion (S-Rank Bangboo) join the Yunkui Summit team
  • Astra Yao and Caesar, previous S-Rank characters, reintroduced in 2.0 banners
  • Hollow Zero now offers multiple Gears per Agent, adding more customization possibilities to combat

Version 2.0 broadens the game dynamics and storyline of Zenless Zone Zero. Moreover, the anniversary celebration sets out multiple routes for players to obtain valuable rewards. This update has made onboarding simpler for new players. It now allows them to jump straight to Season 2 after they finish the Interlude of Chapter 2 of Season 1.
