Two months following the introduction of Lord of the Rings Online’s 64-bit servers, not everything is fully operational yet. Currently, there remains one 64-bit server that is still pending launch, which has now been postponed once again to May 21.
As highlighted by MassivelyOP, several other issues persist. These include the unavailability of dark worlds and players reporting missing items amidst these complications. The development team is actively addressing these issues, with updates shared on the game’s Discord server earlier today. Regarding the lost items, the developers are implementing changes to mitigate this, yet the solution has not successfully passed testing. Consequently, the launch of the Sting server is pushed back, and as stated, it “will open no earlier than May 21st.”
Once operational, the fix should ideally restore the items that players have previously lost. However, there is a requirement for players to take a simple step on their end. Ensure you log into the F2P MMORPG world before any transfers. Failing to do so will result in any currently missing items being disassociated from your account, making them irretrievable.
