I don’t mean to alarm you, but St. Patrick’s Day is approaching this Monday, bringing with it a wave of leprechauns, pots of gold, rainbows, overenthusiastic revelers, and cringe-worthy jokes. The best way to survive the chaos is by diving into MMOs, where you’ll only have to deal with the leprechauns and gold—or, in the case of Trove, rainbow dinosaurs in top hats and lively Irish jigs.
That’s right, the whimsical St. Qubeslick event is back in Gamigo’s blocky sandbox MMORPG Trove. “From now until March 25, players can try their luck and test their skills by collecting Lucky Stars, defeating formidable Luckbeasts, and embarking on a quest to assist Sir O’Lucky himself,” the studio announced.
“Feeling adventurous? Mysterious O’Lucky Stones have begun appearing throughout the game world, waiting for players to discover them. Those who rise to the challenge will face tougher waves of enemies, including the slippery and dangerous Lucksnakes. These creatures can be captured and traded with Sir O’Lucky for Fragments of Luck, which can then be exchanged for valuable rewards. But that’s not all! Players can also unlock two new allies, a brand-new mount, and a stylish new hat, allowing them to explore the world in style and spread vibrant, chaotic fun wherever they go.”
