Players of Dungeons and Dragons Online in search of fresh content will welcome announcement of a recent update – 72.1 by Standing Stone Games. The update, aptly named “Balance the Scales” isn’t expansive, but it brings a new free raid, the Den of Vipers, in which players face up against Darklord Five Fangs from the Silith-tar domain. This is a Legendary raid at CR 36 without preconditions. Additionally, it should be noted the raid links with the Lanters in the Mists event on Cormyr, thereby concluding the event’s plot.
The rest of the update consists broadly of several refinements. The patch notes catalog various bug solutions that have been applied, ranging from ensuring the game verifies players’ interaction with the Year of the Dragon NPC before allowing them to forge a Dragon Disciple, to addressing the issue of creature companions appearing undead when they should be alive.
