While much of the data analysis field can be mundane, the thrill is in uncovering engaging statistics. In a recurring feature on the official PoE site, Lilylicious offers an intriguing breakdown of the game’s interesting stats.

The statistics present a snapshot of the last week, spanning the period from the 18th to the 25th. The limited timeframe is attributed to the game’s extensive data, with just a week’s stats amounting to roughly 1.5TB of log space. The team, however, has introduced tools to compress it down to show approximately 115GB of data, still accessible for insight.

Delving into the existing data yields intriguing results. Among the most-played Ascendancy Classes last week were the Invoker, Stormweaver, and Infernalist, with a tie between the first two. As for money-making, around 900 billion gold has been dropped, averaging about 1.5 million gold per second.

When it comes to fatalities, the numbers are staggering. Players have encountered 14.5 million deaths.
