If you recall, ARK: Survival Ascended was primarily focused on extension towards the end of 2024, and it made an unexpected jump to March in its 2025 trajectory. This was evidently due to the fact that February was going to burst in like Doomguy with a shotgun, as Studio Wildcard unleashed a series of new enhancements this month.
Let’s begin by addressing the cover image. The Power Rangers high-grade mod that was initially integrated last June has now incorporated its Wave 2 content, with six new skins, each endowed with distinctive weapons and emotes, and four unique creature skins that transform animals into zords from the show. The premium mod that required a payment was originally set to become available in January, but it was deferred to early February.
Following that is the Love Ascended event created to commemorate Valentine’s Day in the survival game. The event is heightened with XP and taming rates, event creatures, and event skins, plus new dynamics like unique lovebird species, two fresh chibis, and some novel cosmetics and emotes. This event also experienced a brief delay, starting a day behind schedule, but it will also extend for an extra day as compensation.
Another part of the content that was postponed by a day (yet it’s still several months ahead of time) is the new Greek-inspired DLC. Originally set to be launched in June, the Astaeos DLC reveals a new 264 square kilometer map, a fresh creature, and new realm assignments and updates over time, all furnished at a price of $15.
Finally, in the mobile game’s news ARK: Ultimate Mobile Edition, the Ragnarok map is now accessible for players, endowed with all the expected features, wildlife, and biomes familiar to regular players. The mobile edition is also marking its Love Evolved Valentine’s event until February 16th and boasting over 4 million downloads.
