LudoNarraCon 2025 (Online) is a digital symposium dedicated to the celebration of narrative video games, staged via Steam. An inventive approach by the indie label Fellow Traveller, its goal is to provide a platform to demonstrate and laud unique and trailblazing narrative games, mirroring as many elements and advantages of an in-person convention within a digital environment.
- Since 2019, LudoNarraCon, a virtual celebration centred around narrative games, has been held annually, pulling in over 1 million distinct visitors to the Steam page each year.
- With a spotlight on narrative-focused titles from smaller to mid-size groups globally, the festival may not be an ideal fit for games that lack a powerful narrative-focused concept.
- As the convention is hosted on Steam, we’re only capable of featuring games that have at least an ‘Upcoming’ page live on Steam by the time LudoNarraCon commences, specifically from May 1, 2025.
- While there is no explicit criteria about the frequency of developers’ participation in LudoNarraCon, we encourage developers who are either a year or less from launching OR have already released their games to apply.
- The event encompasses a games roster with active demos, a narrative games sale with special offers, and a two-day livestream featuring panels, intimate discussions, and more, covering a spectrum of topics within the narrative space. Emphasis is placed on rendering the event user-friendly and insightful to consumers.
- The festival is planned and executed by narrative games publisher Fellow Traveller: https://www.fellowtraveller.games/.
- Participation is cost-free and the roster is curated. However, submitting your game doesn’t ensure a place in the final line-up.
