Age Of Ashes Somehow Just Keeps Ticking, Trials Of The Dragon Event Is Live

Age of Ashes Continues, Trials of the Dragon Event Live

I must admit, it’s surprising to see Century: Age of Ashes continue its existence. While it’s great for its fans and the team that created it, the game’s survival is somewhat of a conundrum. The game’s average player count has not seen a three-digit figure starting with 2 since October 2022, which leaves me baffled. I understand that it’s available on various platforms and not just on Steam, but even so…

Notwithstanding, a new feature of the dragon PvP game has yet again made the headlines. With the “Trials of the Dragon” event, players can now soar through the skies. The additions include a Survival Event where the final dragon afloat claims victory and a revamped Thousand Lights Sanctuary Map, adorned with Lunar New Year decorations. There are also new dragons and other cosmetic items.

The event kicks off today and lasts until February 13th.

I would love some insight on the game’s continued online availability and update rollout, despite the updates being mainly event-oriented. Could it have found substantial success on console? Don’t misunderstand me; I found the game enjoyable at first. However, like several others, I didn’t invest much time in it. I’m genuinely surprised. Even the official website’s news section has not updated any of the previous year’s events (including this latest one) at the time of this writing.
