Marvel Rivals’ Spring Festival Launches Limited Time Football Mode Tomorrow

Despite January perhaps being an odd month to hold a game event with “spring” in its name, Marvel Rivals is daring to do precisely that as they prepare for the launch of shooter‘s “Spring Festival” tomorrow. This event will bring exclusive enhancements to characters like Star-Lord, Black Widow, and Iron Fist as demonstrated in the video below. Star-Lord’s special outfit will be available to all players for free, whereas the updated “Clashing Lions” attire of Black Widow and Iron Fist are set to join the in-game store.

For those in search of action, challenge other players to a 3v3 Clash of Dancing Lions. While this mode bears some resemblance to Overwatch 2’s Lúcioball, it leans more towards American football than soccer. The video below appears to suggest a gaming mode that requires handling the ball and getting it across to the goal while dodging attacks by opponents.
