Spectre Divide’s First Season Delayed for a Real Comeback, Set for February Console Release

Despite a rough start for shooter game Spectre Divide developed by Mountaintop Studio, which went public in October, the company quickly rectified part of its problems – the monetization aspect. Even though it was not the only hiccup, it was seemingly an easier fix, since adjusting in-game store prices is less complex than drastically changing game mechanisms.

In spite of the initial roadblocks, the team behind the game reassured its audience in October that Spectre Divide was not being discontinued. Instead, they intended to roll out the first season either in December or January. There has been a one-month delay for the update, now expected to drop in February, titled “Flashpoint.” Players can anticipate everything that was initially scheduled to be a part of this update, such as the game’s 9th Sponsor, a battle pass and easy-to-access stat views.

Thanks to the extended schedule, the developers have been able to come up with additional features. Among these, one of the most notable ones is the release of the console version of the game, besides an exciting new game map.
