There’s no chance Wakfu is slowing down come 2025. Ankama has grand plans for its principal MMO as revealed in a late December post. Several projects for the game were teased, starting with a new plot.
The year begins with players tackling Noximilien the Clockmaker, a major villain from the Wakfu series on the enigmatic Isle of Mists, according to Ankama. This mysterious new island will showcase 5 fresh monster families, epic quests and an array of potent items to assist experienced level 245 players.
In addition to these, ventures into the Osamosa dimension, the introduction of new dragons, a “full interface revamp,” class balancing amendments, and updates to multiple “signature systems” have been sequenced.
On a related note, the animated Wakfu TV series is set to commence pre-production of its fifth and concluding season in 2025, which is slated to span 26 episodes.
