On the latest Titan Talk! stream earlier today, Smite 2’s forthcoming Assault mode was revealed by Isiah and Killgoon. As mentioned during the live session, Assault is the second favourite mode in the OG Smite, making its addition to the newer MOBA a sensible move.
The version shown in today’s live stream is not the final product, but a provisional one, based on a section of The Conquest map. As development progresses, additions will be made to the rule set and eventually, it will have its unique map. For now, it provides the basic experience of “all random, all mid”.
