The unique gaming festival, celebrating everything related to games – from culture and design to production with expert industry guests, returns to the museum in February 2023.

Launched in 2016, the Yorkshire Games Festival puts the spotlight on the culture, design, and production of games. It invites special guests, conducts workshops, master classes, and provides a plethora of enjoyable activities that appeal to gamers across different age groups.

Everyone will find something exciting to participate in across our three diverse strands—The Let’s Play! Family Weekend full of fun activities and gameplay, the Young Developers Conference dedicated to school days, and our Game Talks, a conference-style event.
