Blizzard Reveals 20th Anniversary Edition of World of Warcraft Classic

For those who couldn’t participate in the 2019 debut of World of Warcraft Classic, Blizzard Entertainment is launching the 20th Anniversary Edition. With this release, players will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the game again, this time fostered by in-game engagement from Blizzard GMs. The Anniversary Edition will allow players to experience the MMORPG as a fresh start, including a revitalization of the game’s economy.

New realms will be introduced in this edition, featuring PvE and PvP gameplay opportunities as players work towards reaching level 60. Prior to delving into raids, players should be combat ready for the Molten Core and Onyxia, which will hit on December 12.

The WoW Classic 20th Anniversary Edition will introduce quality-of-life improvements that were integrated into the original WoW Classic at a later stage. Moreover, players will have the freedom to choose between the traditional user interface and a newer format. A “Self-Found” character creation option will also be available original from the beginning.
