Diablo Immortal announces collaboration with World of Warcraft; Diablo IV showcases new accessibility features


Indeed, Blizzard is set to work with itself in celebrating its own game: A Diablo Immortal’s recent roadmap overview indicates an upcoming event in the mobile OARPG this November, commemorating 20 years of World of Warcraft.

Details about this collaboration are under wraps besides a teaser in the development roadmap with more information promised soon. Also planned for the final two months of 2024 are a new worldstone quest, a brand new zone, dungeon updates, new helliquary bosses, and the Brumaltine holiday event making a comeback.

Over at Diablo IV, in the meantime, Blizzard has highlighted recently introduced accessibility features in the game with the introduction of Vessel of Hatred. These features include automated pins for newly discovered quest objectives, a compass at the character’s feet that directs to the current target, and an audio navigation tool which guides players to their objectives via spatial audio pings.
