Final Fantasy XIV Releases Patch 7.1 with New Details Revealed

As the gaming community eagerly anticipates the upcoming Final Fantasy XIV Live Letter event scheduled for November 1, Square Enix gears up for a wave of new information about the evolving game with their Patch 7.1 Special Site. Although little has been shared so far, the last Live Letter gave us a sneak peek into some of what’s coming up, although not all aspects of it are covered yet on the Special Site.

We have a glimpse into the ongoing MSQ, “Crossroads”. As true to character, the Warrior of Light continues to be involved in all happenings in Tural, assisting the Scions and attempting to aid the inhabitants of Living Memory. And of course, everything can’t just be about good deeds, as the Scions are likely to discover some obscure secrets through their endeavours.

If you’ve been pondering over the Final Fantasy XI crossover Alliance Raid, it’s revealed that it happens in the Yak T’el woods, where another world seems to intersect with ours. It looks like Tural might be the focal point for such occurrences. And honestly, which adventurer could resist the urge to explore this anomaly?

In regards to other enigmatic events, a Heritage Found village was once assaulted by a Tural vidraal, with Zoraal Ja leading the defence. Although he returned, the fate of the village remains unknown. Yet another mystery for the Warrior of Light to solve, possibly gaining some new equipment in the process.

Seemingly not satisfied with the challenges our hero already faces, the Wandering Minstrel has used his abilities to present us with a vision of what facing an even more formidable Sphene would be like.

Apart from the aforementioned, a list of new features being added to the MMORPG includes the upcoming Ultimate Raid, the Chaotic Alliance Raid, quests by the Pelupelu Society, additional Hildy adventures, role quests, and much more. The developers are set to further elaborate on these additions in the coming weeks.
