Greg Street Gives a Summary of Project Ghost’s Traditional and Random Zone Testing in His Amazing Pixel Castle

It’s no surprise that the Fantastic Pixel Castle team are extremely happy about the completion of their third prototype milestone for Ghost. Given that they’d likely not cover it otherwise. This minor prototype was examined externally by approximately 20 people. Its purpose was to gauge progress made in terms of the upcoming MMORPG’s design. There’s still much to do, but it’s promising to see that the blue zones of the game are now functional.

The crux of the game’s concept is that red zones function as traditional MMO zones with shared missions, goals, and locations. On the other hand, blue zones are regenerated each time, offering varying experiences for players. It’s still early days for the game, so the process of evaluating the present direction for blue zones was crucial in ascertaining the team’s precise course, which was validated by the third milestone. For a comprehensive rundown, check out the official post, which also offers a sneak peek at the incoming biome that the team is currently prototyping.
