Wuthering Waves releases new zone, characters, weapons, and portal puzzles on September 28

A new content update is set to launch on September 28th for the multiplayer RPG Wuthering Waves, coinciding with the close of September. The update includes a fresh area with new quests, additional characters, and more weapons.

“Having cleared the trials of Mt. Firmament, The Rover is left with an uncertain future and hidden past muddled beneath wavy veils. All leads surface to an infamous island veiled in the sea – the Black Shores.”

The newly introduced Black Shores region divides into two segments: the upper surface of the Black Shores Archipelago and the underwater region of Tethys’ Deep. A fresh principal quest takes players through these menacingly named zones, featuring portal-based puzzles and the chance to aid new aetherfin species locate their native land for bonus rewards.

Although the Black Shores locale takes center stage in this update, other additions include two new characters: The Shorekeeper and Youhu, six new weapons to experiment with, a new boss battle, and two novel echoes.
