Gaijin Entertainment has launched a significant new update for their post-apocalyptic action title, Crossout today. Known as “Next Step”, the update brings mech-style battle walkers as an option for armored combat vehicles. Interestingly, this development comes on the heels of the introduction of bipedal leg parts to the game just last month – hence the update’s name. Now, players can evolve beyond attaching legs to car bodies and instead, construct genuine war mechs.
The “Next Step” update doesn’t stop at mechs. It also adds a new map named “The Way to the Top”, and a fresh brawl titled “For the Emperor”.
Also included in the update is the new Arcade PvP mode that invites all vehicle types, including mechs, to take part. To ensure smooth gameplay, some module performances have been altered, which should ideally enhance the overall enjoyment.
