Last Epoch launches the undead-slaying Imperial Uprising event, starts a new cycle, and adds loot lizards

The Last Epoch kicks off the Imperial Uprising event featuring undead-slaying, begins a fresh cycle, and introduces loot lizards.

Loot lizards, an undead slaying event, and a new cycle season are all featured elements in the latest update for Last Epoch—not your typical OARPG content, especially when it comes to loot lizards.

The newly released patch initiates the Imperial Uprising event, which continues through October 20th. This event challenges players with battling waves of uniquely modified loyalist undead. Players must be online to join in on the event, but those who do will receive a special cosmetic item.

Another highlight of the update is the addition of loot lizards, random encounters that can occur whenever an enemy calls to arms. These lizards, like their counterparts in other games, retreat from players and head towards enemies, sprinkling coins in their path. If they’re defeated within 20 seconds, they’ll drop their loot; otherwise, they slip away. Each of the five lizard types has its distinct loot table.

The last substantial feature in the patch is the previously publicized full cycle refresh, which shifts 1.1 cycle characters to legacy servers and reintroduces the creation of new cycle characters. This new cycle will run until the arrival of patch 1.2.

In addition to the above details, the new patch facilitates the designation of a priority stash tab, offers numerous bazaar enhancements, incorporates 28 fresh shrines, and provides the ability to scale UI elements as well as several adjustments and corrections to the overall game.
