A collaboration between Tencent Games and Archosaur Games has led to the creation of Noah’s Heart. Initially thought to be a competitor to Genshin Impact, the game will be shut down on April 29th, 2024.
While the idea of being a “competitor” to Genshin Impact was never the intention of the studio, Noah’s Heart being an MMORPG, players perceived and embraced the game in this way.
The open-world adventure game with fantastic creatures didn’t meet the studio’s targets and will be discontinued, regardless of its exceptional graphics.
In reality, as of 2022, the game seemed “abandoned” with few updates. The biggest update was at the end of 2022.
In October 2023, the remaining players who still enjoyed the game were already predicting its end.
Compensation in another game
The news of Noah’s Heart’s cessation came via a message on their official website. Archosaur Games took the opportunity to express their gratitude to the players.
It was also announced that players who had spent money on the game could claim reward in another game by the company, Dragon Raja.
No clear explanations, just thanks:
Archosaur Games did not clarify the specific reasons for shutting down Noah’s Heart. Unfortunately, this lack of transparency is frequent in online games.
Despite this, the developers publicly thanked players for shared adventures. For those who invested time in the game, there is a possibility to redeem some “treasures”.

The specific schedule for service termination is as follows:
1. From the date of this announcement, the recharge feature of all servers and client download function on Google, IOS and PC will be terminated.
2. On April 29, 2024, at 06:00 (UTC+0), all servers will be closed, after which you will no longer be able to log into the game.
3. 4. The deadline for accepting customer service compensation is April 29, 2024, 06:00 (UTC+0). After this, the Noah’s Heart FB page will be closed to customer service.

The specific method of coupon return is as follows:
The remaining Ori-Crystals of your character will be converted to Coupons in Dragon Raja – Global at a ratio of 1:1, and you will also receive an additional 5,000 Diamonds.
For instance, if you have 1,500 remaining Ori-Crystals in Noah’s Heart, your character in Dragon Raja – Global will receive 1,500 exchanged coupons, with an additional 5,000 diamonds as compensation.

Bad news for Tencent
This is the second project with Archosaur Games that has been canceled in less than a year, and the third major misstep for Tencent.
Remember that Archosaur Games and Tencent were developing a new Avatar game for mobile that was canceled.
As if that were not enough, a recent report to shareholders revealed that Undawn was also another “failure” for Tencent.
