In the final stretch of July, the Star Wars Galaxies Legends rogue server’s developers shared a dev blog discussing the past month’s game development – and onward. Despite acknowledging some delay caused by external responsibilities, they confirmed progress on the forthcoming Jedi Themepark part 2 while not providing an exact launch date.
“On the path of the Design Team, we have continued to contribute towards the Endor Project we hinted at in the last diary. The development of this content has steadily progressed as Rees and I gain more proficiency in formulating the quests and dialogues. However, our work on Endor is still in the initial stages and everything displayed should be regarded as a rigorous work in progress and in constant modification.”
The blog also shares updates about new space commands, storyteller costumes, holograms, bunker footprints, collections, alterable AT-AT heads (exciting!), improvements to neglected chef goods (even more thrilling!), and other resolutions made by the player senate.
The player developers have been buzzing about a special “new Star Wars Galaxies milestone” event on August 17th. The significance of this date is yet unknown, as it doesn’t align with any notable anniversaries related to the game or the emulator.
