Survivalbox Enshrouded’s Back to the Shroud update offers three new difficulty presets – including a relaxed easymode

The latest update of Survivalbox Enshrouded, “Back to the Shroud”, offers three new difficulty presets, including an easy mode for a relaxed gameplay.

Enshrouded caused a stir in the sandbox universe early this year, attracting over a million users. They continued the momentum by adding dungeons, musical instruments, and revealing a promising roadmap. Keen Games released “Back to the Shroud”, the game’s third major pre-release multiplayer survival package. The most intriguing update is the range of new difficulty settings.

“We understood from your feedback that some players crave a more challenging experience while some desire a greater emphasis on construction and exploration” said the team. “Making Enshrouded equally pleasurable for all player demographics is a challenge. That’s why we’re rolling out flexible difficulty settings. We have prepared several difficulty parameters following these themes. These parameters impact both the single player and multiplayer modes, alongside the dedicated server modes. We’re looking forward to your feedback to help fine-tune these parameters”.

The fresh difficulty settings comprise of a default setting intended for novice players, a laid-back mode for those who enjoy “construction and easy-going adventures”, a demanding mode with higher monster aggression, and a survival template for the most hardcore survival devotees. Additionally, a customized setting allows players to adjust up to 30 game parameters to their liking.

Along with this, the updated package sports new props, character customization options, and multiple lifestyle improvement features. According to an announcement made by Keen, the game has now been played by nearly 3 million players since its release.
