Promised Land is a gathering space for professionals in film, gaming, and other creative fields, with a focus on knowledge exchange, networking, and bridging the gap between digital and traditional arts.
The festival boasts over a hundred different activities including interactive workshops, panel discussions, demonstrations, Q&A sessions, and networking opportunities. Last year, Promised Land attracted nearly 500 attendees and offered:
– 64 hours of lectures, panel discussions, and ‘Meet the Artist’ sessions;
– 38 hours of digital art workshops and masterclasses utilizing advanced creative software;
– 14 hours of world-class sculpting and miniature painting workshops;
– 18 hours of live drawing sessions featuring professional models.
Participants and collaborators in the festival hail from widely recognized organizations in games, films, and lifestyle, such as Platige Image, Guerrilla Games, Blizzard Entertainment, Industrial Light & Magic, Ubisoft, Sean Daniel Company, Converse, and CD PROJEKT RED.
The festival is organized by CD PROJEKT RED, creators of The Witcher game series, in collaboration with the city of Łódź, Poland and EC1 Łódź – City of Culture.
