Season two of MultiVersus debuts tomorrow. As well as introducing new rewards for this season, the fighting game will also be launching a Ranked Mode, enabling players to vie for the top spots on the 1v1 and 2v2 leaderboards beginning on July 23rd.

In terms of new maps, the Water Tower map will be added to the game. Not only iconic for being a recognizable piece from Warner Bros., this map has more than just the water tower, with several easter eggs included for Warner Bros. fans to find.

The main highlight for MultiVersus is the introduction of new characters each season. When season two begins tomorrow, players will see Samurai Jack joining the fray, with gameplay featuring his Bruiser class abilities and his mystical katana. The gameplay video below also reveals a special variant of Jack, the Righteous Warrior, available through the game’s cash shop.

Throughout season two, Beetlejuice will also be added to the game’s character roster, coinciding with the release of the character’s film sequel.

In other news, Warner Bros. Games recently acquired the developer of MultiVersus, Player First Games.
