EverQuest 2 Reverses Decision on Varsoon’s Server Expansion Lock and Allows More Music Streaming

Good news for all the music enthusiasts out there! Volume 7 of the MMORPG’s acclaimed music series from EverQuest 2 is on its way. This extra dose of EQ2 music, more than 57 minutes to be exact, has been made available on various streaming platforms such as Amazon Music, Apple iTunes, Spotify, and YouTube Music.

This particular collection of tunes hails from the Sentinel’s Fate expansion that was launched in 2010.

Moving onto more game-focused updates, the EQ2’s Varsoon progression server is undergoing an unforeseen modification. Varsoon was initially set to feature expansions only up to the 7th expansion, namely Destiny of Velious. However, the players had different plans, their demands were pretty loud and clear.

As a result, the team will not only roll out expansions exceeding Destiny of Velious, but they have also unveiled the anticipated release dates for several expansions and content updates stretching all the way to Tears of Veeshan. They project this expansion to be launched in May 2025.
