The holiday season is in full swing, with snow gracing Taborea, signaling the commencement of seasonal events by Gameforge for their MMORPG Runes of Magic. And just to clear any confusion, yes, the MMO is indeed still active.
Starting off, from Christmas Eve through January 1st, players will receive a daily letter from Santa’s helpers, each containing a special surprise. It’s crucial to note that these rewards can only be claimed by the first character you log in with each day, so be sure to access your principal character first if you have multiple. Missed days of claiming your gift will have no impact on the subsequent days.
In additional festive activities, some children have taken to the snow-covered fields for a snowball fight. Unfortunately, several of their snowballs have hit monsters resulting in their irritation. The players are required to safeguard these children to earn various buffs, which change weekly and are dependent on when you participate in the event. Refer to the full schedule to aim for a specific buff, or simply participate each week to earn a new buff starting from December 8th.
Lastly, from December 12th to 26th, you will receive divine rewards from Owenstein in return for creating runes, and the drop rates for Hearts and Upgrade Parts in Mirror Instances will be increased during December.
